Many people find escuses for not exercising. What is yours?
1) I am not sure how to start
Enthusiasm suddenly hits you like a ton of bricks,but you should not just jump up and start exercising. Being lazy and eating all the wrong foods is so second t your nature you cannot just change overnight and join the most popular gym. You need to thinkabout how you'll create a good exercise routine. First, you need toplan and stick to that plan.
2) I am afraid of heavy weights
Well, there's yoga, pilates, serobic esercise
You don't necessarily have tolife heavy wieghts t exercis.
3) I have no money
Let's look at it this way. If you have no money then you won't be able to pay taxi fare or bus fare so run behnd the bus. Good form of exercise don't you thinK? then you miht use the money you saved on busfare to buy a few pieces of equipment to train at home-simple1 Do not join a gym because everybody else is doing it for if you do not enjoy working out at the gym you will most likely quit really early in the game. Instead find some physical from of exercise you like- you can ask a friend to join you.
4)Exercise is not really my thing
Oh yes, and what happens when you seea good looking,fit and healthy person walk by? Do you wish it was you? maybe your colleague at work is n great shape. get a friend to take a photo of you and stick it somewhere you'll always see it. Then get on with it and start exercising. Don't give your body the time to get used to any one exercise. Change every now and then. Get fitter by all means.
5) I had to work
Instead of driving home or taking the bus walk home from work to your home or to work. Get up early enough, go to a gym nearest to your workplace and exercise for as long as you possibly can. You'll feel better all day
6) My mind is elsewhere
Exercise is the best stress reliever. If you work out regularly you'll discover that the little things won't matter. Exercise the first thing on mornings or at lunchtime. You can channel all your stress into a good aerobic workout and rid yourself of all that stress
7) It's a holiday
Lovely. A holiday is a day to relax but not necessarily to let yourself remain shabby and sloppy. Get up from that couch! Time to get up out of the shadows, exercise and live!
8)I am tired
Drink a cup of strong black coffee. It'll re energize you. careful though caffeine should only be used for energy when you do not have the motivation to exercise. It certainly helps.
So there you have it, no more excuses right! Get out there and Exercise!!! |
