ABOUT Tany Ann Charles

 Tanie is a resident of Marigot. She is 14 yrs old and a form-

three student of the St. Joseph’s Convent. Her hobbies are

singing, talking writing poems and hanging out with friends. She

is young, but that does prevents her from persevering to make

her dream a reality. Her goal is to become an entrepreneur  to

own her business or even a hotel. Tanie is fun to be around and

is quite jovial. Tanie Ann says, “I like enjoying life to the fullest

and i don’t like being around boring people.” Like many of our

youth, Tanie loves going to church and says she is very

adventurous. With so much dreams and potential, she is already

on the road to success.

A TRUE FRIEND

Sometimes I wonder, do I belong in this world
or should I just kill myself and die cold
but you are always there to make me smile
even if it means taking the extra mile.

Sometimes I wonder if life’s just a phase
or is it just a never ending maze
but a friend like you help me hold on
for without you I would be long gone.

Sometimes I wonder what am i doing here
everyone hates me, no one cares
but once again
your gentle touch
prevents me from doing much.

I’m so happy you never gave up on me Lord
you are my true friend and my God
now the sky is my limit
thanks for making me realize it.

Because of you i can face tomorrow
without fear doubt or sorrow
finally with confidence i move on
needless to say all the pain is gone
