The association started in January 2008, by a small group of

young St.Lucians studying in the United Kingdom. From the

start of this group the initial idea was never to have a set list

of aims and objectives, but a mission and that was to never

stand and watch but do something. There are happy and sad

stories of our people in this country. We want them to know

that there are persons they can talk to, who can help in any

way possible. Not only does the association take into account

the young St.Lucians here, we will also assist in the welfare

of our young persons back home.

The group has had the full support of the St.Lucian High

Commissioner in the United Kingdom and the Anse-la-Raye

and Canaries associations. They guided us in the best way to

move forward, and with that we are moving forward; so far

the group has accomplished great things and will continue to

do so.

Official Launch of the association was on the 23rd of

February 2008.
