YUNG TWISS

DANTESDESIGNS met with YungTwiss over the internet and listened to this young rapper hit his lyrics with a vocal range known to only one other - "Fabulous." When DW told hin that he sounds like Fabulous, his response was "lol". Jarvis M. Glasgow; was born in the south of t he island in April 1988, but moved to Barre D'Isle where he is living to this date. He is an ex-student of the George Charles Secondary School and the Anglican Primary. Jarvis has big dreams for his music and has already taken the step to make himself known. He already has his demos recorded in the hope to be signed. In talking about himself and music in general, Yung Twiss as he is called said,

" I had a thing for music from uh……. I can't remember, but I stuck with break dancing til now so i'm kinda good on my feet. I did a few shows with my boys and the ladies loved it. I am very flexible so after doing a few acrobatics, i was baptized by my local fans with the name 'Twiss". From then on, the name just stuck to me.

Like many of our youth, Twiss' first beckoning encounter with music and the arts was in his early childhood years. In a short written biography, Jarvis Glassgow (aka Yung Twiss) testified, "I think I tried writing my first song back in standard four for this girl that I liked. Iit was more an R&B type though…, but anyway I didn’t continue at it. I jus let it be from there until I met this other girl when I was like 16-17. She was "mad" and cool 2 chill with so we chilled. Afterwards, i wrote her a song in the rap genre and sent it to her and a couple other people I was talking to. I got some positive feedback from it so I kinda stuck with that to cuz I really liked it."
